Lin Du is an experienced acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist based in Hale Altrincham, Didsbury Manchester and Offerton Stockport. She is also known as an acupuncturist specialised in fertility issues in south Manchester and Stockport area.

Background

Lin originally came from China. In China, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), from acupuncture to herbal medicine, is as much part of the mainstream as Western medicine. They are fully integrated. Being educated in both disciplines and having many years of clinical experience, Lin understands well that TCM is pivotal in improving the quality of life. Lin sees TCM as complementary rather than alternative to conventional medicine.

Lin was trained at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She started her practice in 1996 when she was qualified. Later on, she completed Master’s degree and PhD. Before she moved to the UK, Lin worked as a lecturer in Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, teaching both Chinese and international students. In the meantime, she worked in a teaching hospital as an attending physician.

Lin is registered with British Acupuncture Council - an acupuncturist listed for Hale, Altrincham, Didsbury, Manchester (south Manchester) and Stockport.
